Executive bios:
  
Martin E. (Marty) Muscatello, President & CEO
Marty Muscatello joined CCS in 2003, serving as President until May 2005, when he was named President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Muscatello brings with him 25 years of management experience in the manufacturing and software industries. Prior to joining CCS, Mr. Muscatello was General Manager of Rohm and Haas' Optoelectronics division holding full P&L responsibility. Working with divisions in Philadelphia, Boston, and New York, he established the foundational business for the Optoelectronics division in Virginia.

Mr. Muscatello also served as Chief Operating Officer for Haleos, Inc., a company that designs and builds optoelectronic components and assemblies. Prior to that, he served as Director of Manufacturing at Litton Industries' Poly Scientific Division where he directed hundreds of programs in the commercial and military sectors.

In addition, Mr. Muscatello led the development and augmentation of four manufacturing facilities outside the United States and directed a corporate transition program overseeing the transition of products, employees, and equipment from one facility to several facilities nationwide. He has presented several papers worldwide on Lean Manufacturing techniques and manufacturing technologies. Mr. Muscatello holds both a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Virginia Tech. He is also active in the community, serving on several boards and holding membership in several organizations, including the NewVA Technology Council, Kiwanis Club, youth softball league and his local church. 
 
Tim Lawson, CFO
Tim Lawson first joined CCS in 1992. He has been instrumental in molding CCS into the successful company that it is today. As the company has grown, so has Mr. Lawson‘s role. Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer, he served in various leadership roles at CCS including: Vice President/Controller, Purchasing and Quality Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President of Sales and Service and Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Lawson was named CFO of the Year by Virginia Business Magazine in 2006.  This award was based on his contribution to CCS' growth, profitability, corporate management, professional achievements and community involvement.  Mr. Lawson holds a BS in Marketing Management and an MBA from Virginia Tech. Throughout his career, he has been very involved in bringing quality into the CCS organization, completing hours of coursework for ISO implementation and Kaizen facilitation.

Mr. Lawson is very active in the community, participating in charitable organizations and projects. He is Past President of the Christiansburg Rotary Club and has served on the board of other organizations within the community including the Christiansburg Presbyterian Church, Better Business Bureau, and Pathway Christian Academy. 
 

Gary Overstreet, Vice President of Sales
Gary Overstreet joined CCS in September 2005 as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Overstreet brings with him over 30 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to joining CCS, Mr. Overstreet was Vice President of Strategic Sales at McLeodUSA where he was responsible for sales to all Fortune 1000 customers in the midwest and southern regions.

Mr. Overstreet also served as VP of Sales & Distribution, Americas for Sierra Wireless, a leading manufacturer of wireless modems and embedded modules. In this position, Gary led the sales efforts to all carriers, indirect channels, and Fortune 500 customers in North and South America.

Mr. Overstreet spent 18 years with AT&T and Lucent Technologies in a wide variety of assignments, including his last position as Area Sales Vice President.  He holds a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. 
 
 

Steve Miko, Vice President of Software
Steve Miko joined CCS in 2008 as a Product Manager, and moved into his role as Director of Qualtrax later that year. In 2010, Mr. Miko took on the role of Vice President of Software, overseeing the two software subsidiaries of CCS, Inc: Qualtrax, Inc. and FoxGuard Solutions. Mr. Miko brings over 20 years of technical and management experience, including Co-Founder of ProVox Technologies, a leading edge voice recognition application for the medical industry. As the CTO, he had responsibility for all product strategy, development, implementation and customer satisfaction. The ProVox solution won Microsoft’s 2001 Healthcare Product of the Year award.

In addition, Mr. Miko has worked in a technology commercialization role, assisting companies bring new products to market. This involved assessing market viability for new technologies, product design and redesign, technical analyses, and initial product implementation. It also required addressing financial risks, market delivery, fundraising, and profitability.

Mr. Miko began his career in technical sales with IBM, gaining six consecutive 100% clubs and several Marketing Excellence awards. He went on to lead successful data center consolidations. Mr. Miko graduated cum laude with a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. He is an active leader in a number of local youth sports organizations.
